How It Works –
Uses sacrificial anode technology – The same technology used for years by the marine industry to protect propellers from corrosion; also used in manufacturing of water heaters to protect internal components from corrosion. Installing a corrosion grenade to your air conditioner creates a sphere of protection for your system. The corrosion grenade decelerates galvanic corrosion. The corrosion grenade anodes are made of 100% zinc, because zinc is at the extreme end of the galvanic scale, which means it protects all other materials from corrosion.
This technology is especially beneficial for air conditioning units that are installed at homes and business located close to saltwater beaches and canals.
